oh geez.

wedding countdown now fits on one hand…FIVE DAYS! i can’t wait…i absolutely cannot wait. lingerie shower yesterday…i was thoroughly embarrassed…but it was really fun. it’s nice to have lovely things. =)

anyways, my family is on their way up as i type this…they should be to birmingham by now…i’ll call and check on them soon…i’m excited!!! buuuut, my house is still a disaster…and i don’t want my mom to see it right now. myehh.

i still have about half of the ornaments we’re giving out as favors to finish…also still haven’t started on the ornaments we’re using as a guestbook…i also forgot about whatever i’m wearing in my hair. oops. i’m sure me & olivia can work something out…she’s been super-helpful.

i think i may skip dinner tonight…i haven’t felt very good all day.

OH! buuut, my knee-high black boots came in today! so excited. john made fun of me for them because they’re so tall…they’re actually supposed to be over-the-knee boots, but since i’m 6 feet tall, they hit me right below.

so right now, we have it’s always sunny in philadelphia thanks to netflix…annnd i love it. it’s hilarious. i’m glad there are already 4 or 5 seasons out because i like being able to watch a show all the way through without too much of a break…which reminds me, i’m now 2 weeks behind on the office. geez…it’ll be 3 weeks after this thursday. i have to close at rivertown thursday night. myehh. i should’ve asked off work for thursday too. i’m off all day friday, but we’re having a bridesmaid luncheon, rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner. our photographer is staying with me, which i am super-pumped about…she’s absolutely incredible and she seems like a freaking awesome person.

i can tell the wedding is getting close…even though i’ve had a headache all day, i’ve been extra chipper and bubbly…which is not normally my demeanor.

i’m ready to see my family…i’m ready to finish cleaning my house (just wish i didn’t have to physically clean it myself)…i’m ready for everyone to be in town! i’m ready to get all prettied up and have my picture taken (which is also out of character for me…especially considering the fact that due to different medications i’ve been on for the past year, i’ve gained approximately 40 pounds…myehhh)…but mostly i’m ready to get the wedding over with and start my new life with the most amazing man in the entire world. i love him more than anything…and we’ve been waiting for this day for SOOOOOO incredibly long…we’ve had friends that started dating AFTER we got engaged and have already gotten married…one of those couples will be celebrating their one year anniversary the day after our wedding. crazy.

well, i need to go work on my house some, i suppose…although, i’ll probably just end up watching it’s always sunny…charlie is one of my new favorite people.

a week from now, i will be a married woman. the wedding will be over, the reception will be over, and i will be at home with my new husband. =)

i can’t wait!

and the morning after, we’re going to the blue ridge mountains in georgia to stay in a cabin for 4 days…i can’t wait to take a trip with him.

i’m sitting at work right now…daniel and ashton are outside kicking around a large wooden spool that, i think, used to have some sort of cable/wire on it…daniel’s smoking his pipe. i used to hate the way it smelled, but i’ve gotten used to it. plus, he looks cute smoking it. well, i don’t know if cute’s the right word…but i like it.

my life has been so stressful lately, but it’s all been for a good cause. however, i am ready to get back to shooting and designing and crafting and the like. my house is almost in order…olivia helped me clean out our studio and organize all of my art supplies. i’ve got clothes bagged up for yard sale/consignment. i’ve finally gotten most of my artwork hung on the walls. maggie brought my camera sculpture back for me! it was in tuscaloosa for too long. the house is pretty much ready for daniel to move in…i can’t wait!

once the house is clean (which will be tomorrow), i’m going to take pictures of our christmas decorations and the rest of the house…well, at least all that’s in order. my room’s still pretty messy…mostly due to the fact that i desperately need to do laundry.

my employment situation will be changing in a little over a month…much more time to devote to my photo/design business…i’ve got a post-wedding shoot coming up soon. i’m excited. the couple went to the courthouse, so they didn’t have any wedding photos, but they’ve hired me to do a couple shoot. should be fun. also, i may be going to new york in february to shoot a few jenny ray shows…so pumped!!! we’re still working on the details for that one though…i just finished up some stickers for her…should be ordering them soon.

ugh. i wish people would quit coming in here tonight. i don’t feel like doing anything. i need to finish cleaning my house.

well, i guess that’s all for now.

i have to be at old navy at 7 in the morning…yay for holiday hours.

lingerie shower tomorrow afternoon though…still mixed feelings on that. should be fun…but it’ll still be awkward. hope no one’s too inappropriate…anne catherine will be there…myehh.
